A Prehistoric Landscape

Imagine Jurassic Park. Instead of dinosaurs there are computer monitors, chassis, and other corded, wild, peripherals.  Instead of a large island, imagine a really, really large island--except everything takes place beween two average size rooms.  Instead of an entire cast of characters there is only one person--a woman--with whom many players converse via internal dialogue and virtual reality. Now, imagine.... Okay, okay, you can stop imagining. Now, remember the scene in Jurassic Park where Malcom (Jeff Golblum) talks about chaos theory? Despite the hubris of its instigators, the whole of Jurassic Park is out of control. And, despite attempts to quell new life, it will prevail. It is unpredictable (beyond the prediction that something will happen). Something will change. In the midst of my own chaos I am compelled to trust the larger design of the universe, the one that extends far beyond these few nondescript walls--and way beyond the shields of my imagination. It is obvious now that if nothing changes, things won't stay the same--they'll get worse. Since they've already gotten worse, perhaps it's time they get better. The BlogClogged landscape is the before picture. The BlogClogged journey will lead to the after. Here's to the after. Salut.
